FBC and boiler owners and suppliers gather to discuss saving money and improving cash flow in scary economic times -- not banking on increasing production/sales but on efficiency, alternative fuels, performance improvement, and immediate cash flow enhancement with information, knowledge and low capital intensive upgrades.

Since 1985, 25 years ago, when CIBO hosted its first FBC conference in Washington, DC, boiler owners, engineering firms, regulators and suppliers have gathered each year (twice in conjunction with ASME's international FBC conference) to discuss the design, applicability, operation and performance of fluidized bed combustion units to improve overall performance and operations in times of changing environmental regulations, energy demand and fuel availability and acceptability. This year's XXIII CIBO FBC Conference marks a quarter century of networking and technology transfer helping to bring the technology to where we are today for industrial, institutional and utility facilities.

With our new EPA administration pushing more stringent regulations for Air, Water, Land (Ash) and Energy via Climate Change Regulation many are thinking of alternative fuels and energy efficiency as a way to save money, stay in business and comply with environmental rules.

Today's Fluidized Bed Technology is a combustion technology capable of meeting most current state and federal environmental requirements when using locally available, lower cost solid fuels across the full range of boiler sizes.

The most significant question today is: will it be that way tomorrow? Understanding the capabilities and application of these systems and ways to improve efficiency and add or increase the use of Bio-fuels is imperative to lowering costs, improving cash flow and helping to secure a reasonable future.

If you own an FBC unit or burn solid fuel and want to save money, improve cash flow and meet the people who know, this is the year to come to Jacksonville, Florida for the XXIII CIBO FBC Conference - it's not just for FBC owners anymore.
