Georgia O'Keeffe Museum - A museum dedicated to the art of one woman. Alan Osborne, popular and knowledgeable southwest cultural historian will accompany our group, sharing knowledge about this captivating and unique community. Walk the historic streets of Santa Fe, one of the world's most desirable cities to visit, in the company of a knowledgeable southwest historian who will share the history of legendary Santa Fe. Learn the fascinating history of our ancient Indian cultures, early Spanish explorers and settlers from Mexico, Mexican freedom, and finally American traders down the Santa Fe Trail and immigrants of the Santa Fe Railroad. Our tour will end with lunch at the Shed at 1:00 PM. The Shed is a charming whimsical restaurant, located slightly off the Plaza courtyard. The food is basic Northern New Mexico cuisine. |
